Education
Over the past few years we have helped Southgate School in North London evolve new ways of dealing with the changing needs of the modern secondary school. We prepared detailed feasibility studies, made presentations to the school governors and assisted with preparation of grant applications.
Our work with Southgate School has involved a number of departments, from developing specialist spaces for the arts, new science facilities to meet their science specialist status requirements, new reception and welfare facilities, new canteen and assembly facilities and finally a new black box theatre and drama teaching unit.
We have worked closely with the DFES and the school governors and senior management through tight timescales to suit the school calendar, tight cost structures that needed to exhibit best value in every decision made, and great spaces for learning, where the building became a teaching tool in it’s own right.
Our educational projects are flexible, hard wearing, good value and also fun!
