Court Lane, Dulwich
Set within the protected Dulwich Village Estate, Curtis Wood Architects created an enlarged family kitchen with family dining, wine store and top-lit utility room.
The ground floor spaces were partly demolished and reorganised and an extension created to enable the adjoining living room and dining space to remain intact. Modern glass doors and a stunning bank of roof lights are married with period details like the Aga, Belfast ceramic sink and panelled kitchen units, to create the perfect balance of old and new for this large Edwardian family home.
The project was completed in 2005 and the main contractor was Cooper Builders.
